Our standard models provide 20 or 40 feet space between the containers (inside edges). All kits are 20 feet long and multiple can be connected end-to-end.

Our measurements are typically shown as width x length. The width is the total span across which is from container to container. The length refers to the measurement along the containers and along the roof ridge line.
It is the measurement between the containers, inside edge to inside edge.
Yes. You will need two kits which are 20’ long each. They’ll connect together end-to-end to create the 40’ length without any gaps.
Yes. You may connect as many kits end-to-end as you like. There won’t be any gaps between kits.
We use our own bracket system to lock them into the container corner pin point holes.
The kits come with standard ratings of 70 mph for wind and 25 pounds per square foot for snow. Kits can be designed for higher ratings.
Yes. All parts needed to construct your kit will be included. Equipment, sealant and the containers are not included.

The GB36 and GB56 gable roofs have a 2-3/12 pitch, 12.7 degrees slope.
GB5630 gable roof has a 7/12 pitch, 30 degrees slope.
The gambrel units have an upper – 5/12 pitch, 23 degrees slope and Lower – 7/12 pitch, 30 degrees slope.
The slopes may vary depending on the exact roof design.

Yes. All parts are ready to be used outdoors and weather resistant.
If you construct your kit in place, you’ll need support for the rafters until connected. If you construct your kit on the ground, you’ll need a crane or other lifting equipment for placing it onto the containers.

The time varies depending on the quantity, type of kits, experience, weather, install location and equipment. An average for a single, small kit is one work day.
Yes, they are designed with this in mind.
The large, structure parts are shipped on a flatbed truck. The small parts are shipped by common truck carrier.
Yes. Instruction manuals and basic diagrams are provided after an order is placed.
The large, structure parts are packed in bundles. The small parts are palletized.
The freight is included in our price so no charges are added to your order. You don’t need to request a freight quote.
No. The drivers will not unload any orders. It’s the customer’s responsibility to unload their shipments.
It’s normally 3 weeks from the time your complete order and payment are received. That includes the delivery time to your location.
We ship from 15 locations nationwide to provide the best service.
No. We are not involved in the assembly of Podroof ® kits. They’re intended to be a self-assembled kit for the end-user. We may be able to recommend a contractor in your area.
No. Although we don’t sell containers, oftentimes we can recommend a container dealer to you.
We can provide information to an engineer or building department on your behalf after an order is placed. You will need to be in direct contact with them to manage the process. Additional charges are not included in your Podroof<sup> ®</sup> order.
We offer a 20-year warranty. A full description is shown in our terms and conditions document.
We do not accept returns. This is due to the custom nature of our products. We’ll do everything necessary to make your kits usable as intended should there be any problem.
